The Forest Service will continue to exercise wise stewardship of your national forests and grasslands while we develop innovative ways to work more efficiently and effectively. Here are some of the things we’re doing to be more responsive to the American people in ways that are timelier and less costly.

• Business Operation creates easy access to contracts, templates, and samples.
• Rocky Mountain Region initiative: 10 projects within 20 weeks treating 20,000 acres
• Region-wide tool in the Northern Region compiles and catalogs more than 12,000 references
• Rocky Mountain Region improves efficiency with a new biological evaluation template and decision tree
