The proposed agreement template is subject to the Paperwork Reduction Act (PRA). The PRA process provides opportunities for the Forest Service and DOI agencies to develop and improve the agreement template with our state, local, and Tribal government partners. The agreement template, and associated information collection, facilitate development of collaborative agreements with fire organizations. This will improve efficiency by facilitating the coordination and exchange of personnel, equipment, supplies, services, and funds among the parties in sustaining wildland fire management activities. These activities may include prevention, preparedness, communication and education, fuels treatment and hazard mitigation, fire planning, response strategies, tactics and alternatives, suppression and post-fire rehabilitation and restoration, as well as responding to presidentially declared emergencies or disasters.
