Entry-Level Forestry Technician Hiring Events Status

This page is informational only and intended to give a general update on the hiring event process and the STATUS. The chart below outlines each hiring event and the STATUS of the various phases of each event. If you applied for any of the Work Force Entry Team (WE Team) announcements on this chart you should be able to tell the STATUS of your application in terms of where it is in the review process.

Description of the Phases:

Eligibility = After the Announcement closed, you should have received an email notifying you if you were “Eligible or Not Eligible”.

Preliminary Qualifications review = If you were found eligible, you went through a preliminary qualification review. You should have received an email notifying you if you were “Referred or Not Referred”.

Referred = If you were referred to the Hiring Manager, you received a next steps email asking for an introduction (instead of an interview) and references.

Application Under Review = The Hiring Manager reviews your application and supplemental information.

Tentative Offer = Tentative “job offers” are underway and ongoing daily until complete.

Final Offer & Final Qualification Review = HR confirms all documentation and eligibility are completed an “Official Final Offer” is sent once returned the final phase begins.

Onboarding = The HR onboarding team will contact you to begin the onboarding process.

Note: It is important to understand that each of these phases take time and the team is hiring for multiple location nationwide so please be patient and keep checking back as the page is updated frequently.
