Casualty Assistance Program Information for Interagency Partners
Forest Service Chief Financial Officer Tony Dixon and Casualty Assistance Program National Program Manager Amber Watson oversee the Casualty Assistance Program.
Preplanning and training are imperative for the Casualty Assistance Program because of the sudden nature of serious injuries, illnesses, or fatalities. The Forest Service offers several training courses to its employees or interagency partners. These courses provide guidelines and resources to support employees, families, and interagency partners during or following a critical incident.
Each Forest Service region and station has a designated program coordinator to help Forest Service employees and interagency partners use this important program.
