Improving program performances through partner feedback
WASHINGTON, DC—Communication and collaboration with our mission partners is crucial for our agency’s success, especially during these times of unprecedented workloads and budgets. Procurement and Property Services continues to seek opportunities to build upon its partnerships across regional boundaries to support the Wildfire Crisis Strategy and other important work to protect our communities and our national forests.
PPS distributes an annual survey to its internal mission partners to strengthen this critical alliance. Participants provide feedback on how PPS is doing and ways it can continue to improve service and program performance as the organization moves into its fourth year under a new organization. Comments on how PPS communicates, its tools and resources, and what can be done to better support mission partners provide an important framework for improving business processes, including program enhancements implemented as the result of previous survey feedback.
A review is currently underway to assess the responses and develop innovative solutions to ensure continuous improvement in our collaborative efforts towards the agency’s overall success. A comparison of FY2021 through FY2023 Mission Partner Survey results is available here.
PPS would like to thank all its mission partners who contributed to a remarkable year of significant achievements in FY 023 and looks forward to continued and enhanced partnerships in FY2024.
