The Master Watershed Steward (MWS) Program offers Yavapai County residents
an opportunity to become highly valued volunteers who are knowledgeable
about Watersheds and Water Resources of Yavapai County. A better informed
public and greater citizen participation in decision making processes
is a key goal.
Master Watershed Steward Volunteers will take an active role in educating
county residents about regional watersheds and critical watershed issues.
MWS Volunteers will assist Cooperative Extension in providing research-based
information to residents, deliver information, provide community assistance,
promote local interest in their watersheds, and assist in building partnerships
throughout Yavapai County Communities.
