Pete's Lake Campground

Peterson Bridge South Campground

Peterson Lake Cabin

The site can be accessed by float plane or by hiking, snowshoeing or skiing 4.5 miles from the Peterson Lake Trailhead on Glacier Highway. The trail has an elevation gain of 800 feet. This 12’ x 14’ cabin is pan-abode style and sleeps six people with two single and two double bunks. Peterson Peak #119

Beginning at the Lyle Canyon #120 Trailhead hikers walk up Scotia Canyon decommissioned road to the official trailhead for 1.2 miles. The Peterperson Peak #119 1.4 mile one-way trail connects to the Huachua Trail #121 and Lyle Canyon Trail #120.

Petes Hole

Petes Hole is a 10 acre Reservoir located in the Thistle Flat area off of the Ephraim/Orangeville Road.  The Department of Wildlife Resources of Utah (DWR) stocks this reservoir with Rainbow, Albino, and Tiger Trout.

Petroleum/Anderson Lake #1991

The Petroleum Lake trail follows Anderson Creek gradually climbing an old jeep road and passing through fir forests before emerging into alpine tundra. Privately owned log cabins are visible. Pettengill Campground

This campground is named after an early homesteader, the "Wild Man of the Mountains" George Pettingill. His grave is nearby. He is widely admired in the area although he was somewhat of a hermit. The campground is located where the Wise River meets Pettengill Creek.

Pettit Campground and Picnic Area is composed of 8 individual units. The area is suitable for motor homes, trailers and tent camping. This is a fee campground. Petty Creek Bighorn Sheep Viewing Site

This is a good place to view bighorn sheep, which feed on the grassy slopes and find safety on the canyon cliffs and talus slopes. Hike the 0.5 mile gravel trail that winds up through the talus rock and Douglas-fir and look for bighorns, pika and rock wrens at the top of the trail.
