Over 3 million acres of land located in 22 National Recreation Areas managed by the Forest Service is preserved for recreational activities like hiking, boating, fishing and swimming, while highlighting natural, cultural and scenic resources. Visitors who choose to recreate on these public lands find 164,000 miles of trails, over 30,000 recreation sites, over 5,000 miles of streams and 3 million acres of lakes, 127 alpine ski areas, 338,000 heritage sites, and specially designated sites that include 37 million acres of designated wilderness areas, 130 wild and scenic rivers, 15 monuments, and one preserve. Crescent Lake Boat Launch

Visitors to this site can enjoy a picnic near the beach, with fire rings and a parking area. This site provides access to Crescent Lake for fishing a variety of fish species, including large lake trout.

Crescent Lake Campground

The campground is located on a small hill overlooking the Crescent Lake. Yurts are available year around at this campground.

Crescent Lake Guard Station

The Crescent Lake Guard Station, built in the early 1930s, is a one bedroom, one bath cabin on the eastern shore of Crescent Lake, managed by the Crescent Ranger District on the Deschutes National Forest. Crescent Lake Sno-Park

Crescent Lake Yurts

The Crescent Lake Yurts are located within Crescent Lake Campground on the northwestern shore of Crescent Lake at the eastern base of the Cascade mountain range. Yurts are managed by the Crescent Ranger District of the Deschutes National Forest.
