Lynx Creek Picnic Area
Lynx Creek is located 11 miles from the north end of the Greys River Road. No water is available, and visitors are asked to Pack Out whatever is Packed In. A vault toilet is provided and private family picnic tables are scattered along a bench overlooking the river. This area is for day-use only.

Lyra Trailhead
This trailhead is part of the Pine Creek System OHV System. The Pine Creek area of the Wayne National Forest provides some excellent opportunities for riding all-terrain vehicles (ATVs) and off-highway motorcycles (OHMs).
This trail system provides approximately 20 miles of trails for off-road vehicle, hiking, and mountain bike use.

M. Gordons Ferry River Access
Gordon's Ferry is a popular fishing access just a few miles east of Happy Camp. The road is mostly paved but has a section of improved gravel. The last 1/2 mile or so is steep, narrow and windy. It is not recommended for trailers or large RV's. There is limited parking and limited dispersed camping.

Mabel Lake Campground
Located at 6715 Mable Lake Road NW Walker, MN 56484, 26 miles east of Walker on Highway 200. Mabel Lake is a secluded campground with a beautiful, sandy beach. There are 22 campsites available. The surrounding forest is abundant with wildlife and nearby is the North Country Trail and Boy River is an excellent river to paddle and view eagles, osprey and waterfowl.
Mac Donald Pass Ski Trailhead
This cross-country ski trailhead is located just off Highway 12 on Mac Donald Pass. It provides limited parking for skiers from December through March.
Mac Point Beach
Bring a picnic and spend the day! A white sand beach and shady picnic area with tables and grills occupy a small peninsula jutting out into Lake Ocoee. Restroom/changing facilities are nearby. Across the highway is a fishing pond and camping is available just down the road at Parksville Campground.

Mackay Bar Campground
Resting near the north bank of the mighty Salmon River, Mackay Bar campground offers three campsites, tables and fire grates. Parking is limited. Access to this campground is via a very rough, winding road with many tight switchbacks. Low-range, 4-wheel drive is recommended, with no trailers. Note: Be considerate of adjacent private ownership. Be Aware of rattlesnakes and poison ivy!
