New Fork Lake Campground

New Fork Lake Campground is located right on the lake shore of New Fork Lake, among a grove of aspens. This site has a great day use beach adjacent to the campground, with a sandy beach providing fun for the whole family. The 1,070-acre New Fork Lake offers great boating, canoeing and swimming. New Fork Trailhead

Located on the northeast shore of Lower New Fork Lake, this trailhead offers a moderate size parking area and corrals for stock users. Access to the Bridger Wilderness is provided by the New Fork Canyon Trail and the Doubletop Moutntain Trail.

New Hope Pond

New Straitsville Trailhead

This trailhead is part of the Monday Creek OHV System. The Monday Creek area of the Wayne National Forest provides some excellent opportunities for riding off-highway vehicles (OHVs). North of Nelsonville, this trail system provides approximately 75 miles of designated trails to off-highway vehicle riders, mountain bikers, and hikers. Loading ramps are available at the New Straitsville and White Oak Trailheads.

New York Creek TH #2182

From the parking area, the trail crosses Lincoln Creek. This crossing is very wide and can be tricky during high spring runoffs. The trail ascends gradually and then more steeply following an old jeep road for 1 mile before merging with the old aqueduct road. Follow the old aqueduct road to the right for 1/2 of a mile. New York Lake TH #2221

The New York Lake trail begins at Forest Road #418 and ends at the lake. This trail traverses a very steep and rocky hillside and is only recommended for hikers in good condition and with good map and compass skills.

New York Mountain TH #1876

The New York Mountain trail begins at Baryeta Cabins Road #423 and ends at Nolan Lake Trail #1898. To start at the Baryeta Cabins Road, you must either have a rugged, high-clearance 4WD or hike up the road first. Another option is to start the trail further up at the trailhead for New York Lake Trail #2221. The trail can be faint and hard to follow in spots but provides excellent views of the Sawatch Range.  

Newberry Group Campground

Located along the south shore of Paulina Lake within the Newberry National Volcanic Monument, this site offers opportunites for bird watching, bicycling, sightseeing, and access to Paulina Lakeshore Trail (#3955). Maximum site spur length is 40 feet.

Niagara Creek Campground

  Niagara Creek Campground situated in a mixed conifer forest. It is located on Forest Road 5N01. Turn right off of Highway 108 at Eagle Meadow Road (5N01), about 15 miles from the Summit Ranger Station. There are 10 sites; each site has a table and a fire ring. The main road and parking pads are dirt-surfaced. Potable water is not available. Toilets are vault-style. Fee charged for extra vehicle parking.
