Hune Bridge Campground
Access the Hune Bridge Campground along the National Forest Covered Bridge Scenic Byway (S.R. 26) in Washington County. The campground is located across the historic Hune Covered Bridge. The campground has four camping sites just below the covered bridge on the Little Muskingum River. This campground is also a canoe access point and trailhead for a 5-mile hiking trail to the Rinard Covered Bridge.

Hungry Horse Dam Visitor Center
Hungry Horse Dam is located off Highway 2 in Hungry Horse, MT. Directional signs lead drivers from the highway to the Visitor Center. The visitor center is open during the summer and features exhibits on the construction, history, purpose and benefits of Hungry Horse Dam.
Hungry Horse Ranger District
The Hungry Horse Ranger District is bordered on the east by the Middle Fork of the Flathead River and Glacier National Park. Its southern border runs along the Spotted Bear Ranger District and on the west with the Swan Lake ranger District. The Hungry Horse Reservoir and the South Fork of the Flathead River run north through the middle of the district.
Hungry Horse Reservoir
The Hungry Horse Reservoir is fed by the South Fork of the Flathead River. The Hungry Horse Dam, where the reservoir begins is located 3 miles south of Hungry Horse, MT. The reservoir is 34 miles long and has about 170 miles of shoreline. Two roads encompass the reservoir: the East Side Resevoir Road # 38 and the West Side Reservoir Road #895 provide access to campgrounds and boat access sites.…
Hunkidori Mine TH #276
This trail passes into thick spruce and fir trees. You will be entering a stand of Red Barked spruce which is a species of Englemann spruce that is over 200 years old. After approximately 2 miles, the trail will bear to the left and loop back to the southwest. The trail will become steeper the closer you get to the mine. The mine sits in a bowl on the north side of Bear Mountain.

Hunt's Loop
Along this trail, hikers can enjoy panoramic views from Short Mountain Vista while observing interesting geologic features on the steep rocky slope above Iron Springs. This loop also travels through open woods on the ridge top and is an ideal day hike.
Hunter Camp
The Hunter Camp is a very primitive camping area in the middle of the forest. There is a camping loop area and a vault restroom facility and is centrally located near the Ouiska Chitto Trail. The Longleaf Scenic Area is also nearby with the Big Branch Trail running right next to the camp.
Hunter Campground
Hunter Campground is popular with pack and saddle stock users. The campground offers corrals, hitching rails, and an accessible mounting ramp. It is conveniently located near many trails that access to the Cloud Peak Wilderness and the Rock Creek recommended wilderness area. 14 day stay limit. Wilderness Regulations apply within nearby Cloud Peak Wilderness. Dogs must be on a leash.
