Miller Lake Trailhead
A road bridge that spanned Sturgis Fork was removed in the spring of 2006. This bridge was located approximately 3.8 miles from the Miller Lake trailhead. Funding for a replacement bridge is uncertain. As a result, access to the old trailhead is now by foot, horseback, motorized bike, or ATV. Millers Flat Reservoir Group Campground
Miller Flat Reservoir Campground is located in a high mountain valley near Miller Flat Reservoir, at an elevation of 8,500 feet. Visitors enjoy fishing, canoeing, horseback riding and exploring the surrounding off-road vehicle trails. Milton Reservoir
The Middle Fork of the Yuba River flows into the east end of Milton Lake. This small 12-acre lake is part of the wild trout program of California's Department of Fish and Wildlife. There are some trophy size trout found here. The deepest part of the lake is on the west end near the dam. The elevation of the lake is 5650 feet.
No motors are allowed on this lake.

Minaret Vista Observation Site
Located on the Sierra Crest, Minaret Vista gives a panoramic view of Reds Meadow Valley and the surrounding Ansel Adams Wilderness. The overlook identifys peaks of the Minarets, Mount Ritter, and Banner Peak.
A short nature trail and picnic area invite you to linger and enjoy the view.
Miner Lake Campground
The campground is located in a lodgepole forest on relatively flat ground along the north side of the 54-acre Miner Lake. This campsite is equipped with a day-use picnic area, toilets, water, a boat launch area, and fishing access. The campground has 18 units. The maximum recommended trailer length for the area is 20 feet.

The Miners Creek Road is near the town of Frisco and is an out and back route. At the end of Miners Creek Road travelers are rewarded with a majestic view of the northern portion of the Tenmile Range. There is no motorized access beyond this point but you can continue on the Miner’s Creek Trail by hiking, biking or horseback.
