Midway #1993

Midway trail begins to the left of the bulletin board at the trailhead and quickly crosses a wooden bridge. At a 1/2 mile, the trail forks. Midway and Morrow Bridge Seasonal Camp

Midway and Morrow Bridge Seasonal Camps located on the Sumter National Forest, Enoree Ranger District. There is "no" water available at either of these sites. Portable toiliets are available during open season. Seasonal camps will open on September 13. For more information call 803-276-4810. 

Midway Campground

At Midway’s high elevation of 6,000 feet, snow pack levels are higher here than other campgrounds on the Pomeroy Ranger District of the Umatilla National Forest. Opportune hiking trails are connected to this campground for convenient accessibility. Please Leave-No-Trace.

Mike Bauer Wayside

Mike Harris Campground

Mike Harris Campground is nestled along the scenic Teton Pass, about five miles southeast of Victor, Idaho. Mile High Vista Observation Site

This stop offers one of the most spectacular views along the Sierra Vista Scenic Byway. From here, you can view the peaks that make up the "Heart of the Sierra Nevada," including the Minarets, Mt. Miles Notch Trailhead

This trail accesses Red Ridge Trail and continues to the height of the notch, ending at it's north terminus near the Haystack Notch Trail.

Military Trail Trailhead

Trailhead on the east side of New Mexico Highway 15, between mileposts 32 and 33, to access Military Road Trail 709 and Gila Flat Trail 97. Milk Creek #474

Forest Trail #474 (Milk Creek Trail) is 1.8 miles long. It begins at Forest Road #578 and ends at Forest Trail #488. Forest Trail #474 is open for the following uses: Hiking, Mountain Biking, Horseback Riding, and Motorcycle Trail Riding

Mill B North Trailhead #005

Elevation gain is 3,000 feet. Major destinations include Mount Raymond, Desolation Trail, Hidden Falls and Maxfield Basin. Trail junctions include Desolation Trail. Mill Canyon Fishing Dock and Boardwalk

Dogs are permitted, however check the restrictions for this canyon. USGS Map - Mounta Aire. There is very little elevation gain on this trail. The fishing dock is located on the south side of the road. The first parking area is just past the fishing dock. A vault toilet is located near the parking area. The boardwalk follows Mill Creek for about 0.10 mile and then turns into a dirt path near the road.

This 11 mile hiking trail follows Mill Creek through a spectacular landscape. You will see views of mixed conifer forests and vast oak woodlands. This trail is cleared 5 miles from the trailhead then becomes difficult to navigate.
