Middle Fork of Flathead River

Middle Fork Payette River / Wet Foot Trailhead

The Middle Fork Payette River / Wet Foot Trailhead includes a hitching rack and information kiosk available as well as trailhead sign. The trailhead is located on the road near the gate that leads into Boiling Springs Cabin. Middle Fork Snoqualmie River

The proximity of this river system to the Seattle metropolitan area gets a lot of recreational use. Despite this pressure, one can find sections of the river offering peace and solitude. This is a rather wide river, so the use of chest or hip waders is recommended. The scenery contains portions of the Alpine Lakes Wilderness Area for your viewing pleasure.

Middle Fork Teton Trailhead

Trailhead Bears may frequent the area; keep all food out of sight in approved containers and remove all food from area after eating. Mandatory food storage is required.

Middle Fork Trail - 849

Trail #849. This 3.3-mile-long motorized trail is accessed from Battle Park Trailhead. The trail goes into the Middle Paintrock Creek drainage and changes to non-motorized after crossing Battle Creek.

Middle Fork Transfer Camp & Trailhead

Middle Fork Unit

The Caney Ranger District's Middle Fork Unit has two hunter camps and is used primarily for seasonal hunting. Wildlife and bird watchers, plant enthusiasts, and nature lovers enjoy this Unit. Located to the east of Summerfield and to the north of Homer, the Middle Fork Unit has become a locally popular place to just get away.

Middle Inlet Group Day Use Area is located on the eastern shore of Pineview Reservoir, just 2 miles from Huntsville, Utah. It's a great location for weddings, company picnics and family reunions. Boating, swimming and fishing are popular activities. The reservable group site has a pavilion and can have 75 people at one time.

Middle Lion Campground

Middle Lion Campground is surrounded by chaparral covered mountains, shaded by cottonwood trees and is next to a peaceful stream. CAUTION: There are bears in the area. Please keep all foods, soaps, and garbage contained. All vehicles must be kept in the unit’s central parking areas. Please keep family pets on a leash at all times. Please use the stove or fire ring provided and make sure your fire is dead out before leaving. Use only water, not soil.
