Over 3 million acres of land located in 22 National Recreation Areas managed by the Forest Service is preserved for recreational activities like hiking, boating, fishing and swimming, while highlighting natural, cultural and scenic resources. Visitors who choose to recreate on these public lands find 164,000 miles of trails, over 30,000 recreation sites, over 5,000 miles of streams and 3 million acres of lakes, 127 alpine ski areas, 338,000 heritage sites, and specially designated sites that include 37 million acres of designated wilderness areas, 130 wild and scenic rivers, 15 monuments, and one preserve. Corner Lake Campground

Corner Lake is a 100 acre lake that offers camping, fishing, boating, and a small swimming area for young children. Link to Campground Map

Corner Mountain Trailhead

Winter cross-country skiing and summer hiking trails. In the winter for cross-country skiing it accesses the Corner Mountain Loop (2.3 mi/3.8 k), Camp Loop (1.3 mi/2 k), and Spruce Loop (0.4 mi/0.6 k), as well as the lower end of the Barber Lake Trail. This area offers an interconnected set of trails with rolling terrain and several steep sections.

Corney Bayou Boat Launch

The Corney Bayou boat launch was opened earlier this year and is a new facility to allow visitors to travel by boat on the winding and mysterious Corney Bayou.

Corney Lake North Shore Boat Launch

Visitors to the Corney Lake north shore boat launch can enjoy the beautiful 2,300 acre lake via a primitive boat launch area that includes picnic tables, a vault restroom, trash receptacles, and limited parking. Visitors that decide to use the north shore boat launch instead of the more updated south shore should know the road is primitive gravel with some rough spots.

Visitors to the Corney Lake south shore boat launch can enjoy an updated parking and launch facility with water, restrooms, trash receptacles, group-picnic shelter, fishing pier, boat landing dock and ample parking. Corney Lake Unit

The Corney Lake Unit includes the Corney Lake Recreation Area which is a beautiful 2,300 acre reservoir which has become a very popular fishing and waterfowl hunters destination. Facilities are included on both sides of the lake with the south shore offering more modern fixtures. Also included in the Corney Lake Unit is a hunter camp which is located just northwest of the Corney Lake Complex.

Cornucopia Trailhead

The trailhead at Cornucopia gives you access to the East Fork Trail #1865 as well as the Pine Lakes Trail #1880. Located on the south side of the Wallowa Mountains, Cornucopia offers you history as well as amazing views. *ALERT: All parking as well as the trailhead are located on private property, so please be respectful of the land and area around it.

Corral Creek Road #650.1

 Corral Creek Road is 2 miles. It is open to high clearance vehicles, ohv, motorcycle, horse, bicycle and foot traffic. The road connects to the Meadow Lake and Meadow Ridge Campgrounds and the Meadow Lake Fishing Day Use area.

Corral Creek Trailhead

Just downriver from Cazier Guard Station, Corral Creek bridge crosses Greys River. The road can get quite rough, especially if wet, but the area is fairly open with many optional pullouts, so stop at any point with your road vehicle and continue as if on the trail already. The trail offers a popular access to Corral Creek Lake, and connects to Swift, Dry or Cottonwood Creek drainages on the west side of the range.

The Corral Fork Trail #652 is used as a connecting route between Rim Road, FSR #416, and the Little Creek Trail #655.
