Horse Cove Campground

The campground is near the entrance to Joyce Kilmer Memorial Forest. The main portion of the campground is closed indefinitely due to a water system issue. The lower 8 sites are open year round. These sites are primitive with access to a vault toilet but no running water. There is a creek nearby.

This campground hosts nine sites on Horse Creek. There is plentiful fishing in Horse Creek and other nearby streams. Stay limit is 16 days. Maximum spur 32 feet. This site is not accessible for those with mobility impairments. Picnic tables, fire rings, bear boxes, and garbage collection are available.

This group site provides an opportunity to camp with a large group in a gorgeous setting. Located on the banks of Horse Creek, the rushing water and tall Douglas firs provide a cool, shady place to enjoy large get-togethers. Horse Creek accommodates 60 campers and 23 vehicles. Horse Creek Hot Spring & Campground

6200-foot elevation. Disperse camping near the border of the Frank Church River of No Return Wilderness and Montana's Bitterroot National Forest - restroom facilites, but no picnic tables or fire-rings. Horse Creek Picnic Site

Horse Creek Picnic Site is a large day use area along the North Fork of the Shoshone River. There is a covered shelter, vault toilet, picnic tables, and cook grates. Nearby activities include fishing, hiking, and viewing and photographing scenery and wildlife.

Horse Creek Recreation Area

Horse Creek Recreation Area is located eight miles from Greeneville, off TN 107 north. This recreation area is nestled into a hardwood cove beside its namesake, Horse Creek. Horse Flat Campground

Horse Flats Campground offers 26 campsites with plentiful shade options. It also has accessible hiking opportunities such as the Silver Moccasin National Recreation Trail, some excellent areas for mountain bikers, and, as the name implies, equestrian resources that include four corrals and several more hitching posts.

The Horse Heaven / Swanholm Trailhead is a signed site with visitor information and loading/unloading ramp for animals. It serves Horse Heaven (#050) and Lodgepole (#052) trails.
