Mascall Corral (Formerly Apple West) Trailhead

Mason Draw Campground
Mason Draw Campground offers 5 first come/first serve campsites that are available for $10/night. It is located just off the La Sal Loop Road near the Castle Valley Overlook. This is a basic campground with vault toliets, campfire rings, and picnic tables. There is no water available.

The Massey Branch Trail #618 follows the Massey Branch drainage for the first mile through ponderosa and aspen, while the lower section travels along an oak brush hillside to the Mailbox Trail junction. The Massey Branch Drainage does not usually support any type of fish habitat.

Located on the eastern shore of Turquoise Lake, Matchless Campground has 20 sites and can accommodate larger recreational vehicles. Facilities include restrooms, potable water, picnic tables, and fire rings. This campground is adjacent to the boat ramp and parking areas. Firewood is available at the host site. During weekdays, usage is moderate, but heavy on weekends.

Matthews Creek River Access
This access on the South Fork of the Salmon River has a short road to a large parking area on the cobble bar. Boats must be carried a short distance to the water. This access is located adjacent to Matthews Creek Campground, a fee site. Do not park in campsites.
Matukat Area
The Matukat Road (NFSR 211) provides access to the southeast portion of the Lost Creek Wilderness and to Cheesman Reservoir. It provides a scenic drive with expansive views through part of the area that was burned in the Hayman Fire of 2002 and continues south to connect with the Taryall Road (Park County Route 77).
