This scenic campground sits above the Trinity River at the start of the Pigeon Point river rafting run with Class III rapids. Pull thru parking is available for boat trailers. Reservations only required for use of the group site. Facility has a self-registration/fee station at the entrance. Group site includes a picnic pavillion area.

The 16 x 16 foot A-frame cabin has a main floor and a loft. It sleeps six and comes equipped with wooden bunks, a table with benches, an oil drip (Kerosene) stove, fire extinguisher and a broom. Pilot Knob Trailhead

Pilot Knob trailhead is located on Forest Service Road 208. Traveling north, it provides motorized access to the Centennial Trail and traveling south it provides non-motorized access to the Centennial Trail. There is a restroom here but no water.

Pilot Rock OHV Road 2N33

This road travels 11.8 miles from the Cedar Springs Dam at Lake Silverwood to State Highway 173 just north of Lake Arrowhead. Important Note: Non-street legal vehicles must exit 2N33 onto 3W14 just prior to waste treatment plant before State Highway 173.  3W14 is limited to vehicles less than 50" wide.  Non-street legal vehicles greater than 50" wide cannot continue beyond this point.
