Swift Creek Campground

Swift Creek Campground (formerly Baker Lake Resort) is located about halfway up on Baker Lake across the road from Park Creek. Swift Creek-Periodic Spring Trailhead

The Swift Creek Trail ventures high along the north slope of the Creek from the Periodic Springs parking area. Look for hitching rail just past the vault toilet. The Springs trail, following the bottom, offers visitors an easy 3/4 mile hike to view Periodic Springs, North America's only cold water geyser and the largest of the three known fluctuation springs in the world.

Swiftwater Picnic Area

This is a very scenic picnic area along Tumwater Canyon on US Hwy 2.  There are 14 picnic sites in this area.

Swim Pond Equestrian Trailhead

Swisher Lake Campground

The Swisher Lake Campground is located 8 miles northwest of Eureka on Sophie Bay road 7160. The campground has 4 sites with tables and fire rings. Amenities include a vault toilet, hitching rack and easy access to the lake. The access road to the campground is 0.42 miles long and closed to all motorized traffic. This campground is popular with horsemen and hikers.

Switchback #705

The Switchback Trail #705 descends off the rim of the Grand Mesa through a series of switchbacks and drops almost 1000 feet in elevation in less than a mile. Switzer Park Picnic Area

Sycamore Grove Campground

Campground has grass lawns, paved road, paved sites, tables, grills & fire rings, vault & flush toilets, showers & shade trees. Ten of the 30 sites have 20, 30 & 50 amp RV electricity. These sites also have potable water hookups.

Sylamore Shooting Range

Two ranges are available: a rifle range 200 yards long and a pistol range 50 yards long. Visitors need to bring their own targets and tape, thumbtacks or stapler to attach the target to the holder. Sylvan Bay Swimming Area

Approximately 7 miles north of Pinedale, and just a short hike from Fremont Campground is Sylvan Bay.  This day use area provides quiet little beach and a vaulted toilet.   The vehicle access is a narrow, dirt road to this site and parking is limited.  Please no overnight use or campfires.

Sylvan Lake Campground

The Sylvan Lake Campground is located southeast of Libby on road 154. The campground has 5 sites with tables and fire rings.  Campground roads and parking spurs are of native soil. Amenities include a vault toilet.
