Greenhouse Gas Emissions and Removals from Forest Land, Woodlands, and Harvested Wood Products in the United States, 1990–2024
This resource bulletin provides an overview of the status and trends in greenhouse gas emissions and removals. Estimates are consistent with methods used in the most recent compilation reported in the U.S. EPA inventory and rely on the latest data available from the Nationwide Forest Inventory collected and maintained by the Forest Inventory and Analysis (FIA) program. This information is compiled to support national reporting requirements (e.g., Resources Planning Act Assessment, 2030 National Report on Sustainable Forests) and FIA stakeholder needs.
