Eightmile Camping Area
Small but nice camping area along the Yankee Fork of the Salmon River. Ideal for families that want a good place to hunt or fish or just relax. There is a vault toilet and the meadow across the road can accommodate larger camp trailers. Notes: There is no drinking water on site and no hookups are available, please pack out your garbage. 16 day stay limit .
Eightmile Sno-Park
Open, easily visible Sno-Park parking area on the right side of the road, suitable for trailers. Gives access to groomed snowmobile routes up Chewuch River, up 8 Mile Creek and to Sweetgrass Butte. The Sno-Park has a plowed parking area and has a vault toilet.

Eightmile Trailhead

The road accesses Eightmile and Colchuck/Stuart trailheads. The road is closed to vehicles every winter to protect the roadbed from damage and prevent hazardous travel on the steep exposed snow covered road.

Eiseman (winter)
The Eiseman trail begins at Spraddle Creek near Vail and ends at Eiseman Hut: From the gate at Spraddle Creek Ranch, follow the road North and then East along Spraddle Creek roughly 1.8 miles to the Eiseman trail. The route is marked by blue diamonds and climbs gently while crossing streams at 0.1, 2.3, 3.3, and 3.7 miles. At about 4 miles, the trail begins climbing more steeply up switchbacks to Eiseman Hut.

El Cariso Visitor Center
Located on the Trabuco Ranger District the El Cariso Visitor Center opened to the public on October 8. 2004. The visitor center is open on Saturday's, expect the third Saturday of the month, from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The visitor center provides visitors with campground, recreational opportunities, forest use restrictions information, and wilderness permits.

El Caso V Campground
This is an equestrian camping area adjacent to Quemado Lake Recreation Area.
El Caso V (Five) Campground is a partially developed campground located just outside of Quemado Lake Recreation Area. It is primarily for equestrian use since horses may not be taken into the recreation area. Corrals and water are not provided. Cottonwoods and ponderosa pines provide shade throughout the campsite.

Located near the town of El Rito, this area is often crowded in summer due to its popularity. The campground is situated along the bank of the El Rito Creek. 11 campsites at 7600 feet with excellent hiking and fishing access.
