Isabella Point Trailhead
The Isabella Point Trailhead serves as the beginning to trail 95 which connects to trail 399, taking hikers/stock on a journey into the spectacular Mallard Larkins Pioneer Area. Two campground units are located at the trailhead.

Ishi Wilderness
In the southern Cascade foothills, approximately twenty miles east of Red Bluff, California, lies the Ishi Wilderness, a unique 41,000 acre, low-elevation wilderness. This is a land incised by wind and water, dotted with basaltic outcroppings, caves, and bizarre pillar lava formations. This is up and down country, a series of east-west running ridges framed by rugged river canyons.

This primitive campground is a favorite among fisherman for being adjacent to Long Run and the East Fork of the Greenbrier River.
For hikers, this campground is located close to the East Fork Trail #365. This is an 8 mile trail with some difficult terrain to traverse. Also close by is the shorter Smoke Camp Trail #324. It is 1.8 miles in length for those looking for more of a day hike.

This campground is one of the few in Grand Mesa National Forest not located on a lake. Most of the sites are nestled in a thick grove of mature spruce. A few sites have a panoramic vista of the Grand Valley and several of the lakes below. There are 41 sites. The maximum spur length is 60 ft.

The Island Lakes trail begins about 1.5 miles up the Hooper Lake Trail #1860, passes Island Lakes, and ends at W Mountain Trail #1817. A 4WD vehicle is needed to access the trailhead. This lake is formed from the Henry's Fork of the Snake River. It is a beautiful lake surrounded by lodgepole pine trees, with fantastic fishing, and located only about 60 miles north of Rexburg. Islet Boat Launch & Day Use Area (Waldo Lake)
This day-use area is located at the Islet Campground at the north end of Waldo Lake and offers wonderful sandy beaches. The winds consistently blow each afternoon, offering a cool break from the summer sun. The 1-mile Shoreline Trail between Islet and North Waldo Campgrounds provides a short and pleasant hike along the lakeshore. The mosquito population is high from June to mid-August, so come prepared.
