The Lower Fremont Boat Site is located on the southern shores of Fremont Lake. Two paved ramps are available, depending on water levels access may be limited. A Dock is provided for your convenience. The gravel parking area is available for both day and overnight use. There is a double vault toilet onsite, please pack out all your trash.

Lower Hyalite Group Site is located in scenic Hyalite Canyon on the Bozeman Ranger District of the Gallatin National Forest. It is just nine miles south of Bozeman, MT. The surrounding area offers many outdoor recreational opportunities, including fishing, hiking and climbing.

This campground is located in a small canyon adjacent to the lake. The Jones Valley boat ramp and the Clickipudi Trail are located nearby. All sites have an paved parking spur, tent pad, raised campfire ring, bear boxes and a picnic table.

Shaded by large Gambel oak and sycamore trees, this campground is lightly used. It also has some remnants of times gone past. What looks like an old, hand dug cistern well can be seen north of the campground.

Lower Karr Canyon Campground has undeveloped campsites scattered above and below the Karr Canyon Picnic Area. Forest Road 63 is gravel and can be rough. Fire rings are available. Tent camping is allowed here and there are a number of lovely spots for you to choose from, all of which are accessible by walking in to the site from the parking area.
