OverviewLower Bowns Campground is east of Boulder Mountain on the shore of Lower Bowns Reservoir at an elevation of 7,000 feet.
FacilitiesThis campground has three accessible sites: one group site can accommodate 50 people and up to 4 vehicles, and two single sites can each accommodate up to 10 people. Vault toilets are provided, and roads and parking spurs throughout the site are gravel.

LOWER BOX CREEK TRAILHEAD
Lower Box Creek Trailhead is located at an elevation of over 7,000 feet in a canyon along Greenwich Creek with cottonwood trees for shade. Facilities include an unloading ramp, information kiosk and vault restroom. Paiute Side Trail 53 begins at the trailhead and allows 50" ATVs. Lower Bucks Campground
Lower Bucks Lake Campground has 7 shady, lakeside sites. Lower Bucks Lake is a high mountain lake surrounded by the Bucks Lake Wilderness on one side and recreation residences/resorts on the other side. Supplies and boat rentals are available at resorts. Sites are available on a first come, first served basis. There are bear boxes in each site for food storage.
Lower Burnt Corral Shoreline Area
This site offers shoreline parking and boat access. Access via the Apache Trail National Forest Scenic Byway, a scenic mountain road showcasing magnificent bluffs above Apache Lake. Nearby are views of majestic mountains with abundant wildlife.
