The Lower Piney Trail trail is 8.0 miles long. It begins at Red Sandstone Road #700 and ends where the Lower Piney River enters private land: This is a downhill hike along the Lower Piney River into the Eagles Nest Wilderness, so remember that you will need to hike back up what you have descended. LOWER PLEASANT CREEK CAMPGROUND

Campground. This is a favorite for campers. There is trout fishing nearby at Lower Bowns Reservoir and Lower Pleasant Creek. RVs over 25 feet long are not advised. Bears are known to frequent this area. Keep a clean camp.

Lower Rose Valley Lake Day Use Area

Lower Rose Valley Lake is a major attraction during the summer months on the Ojai Ranger District.  It is located 4 miles off of the Sespe River Road, also known as Rose Valley Road.  Access to the lake is open all year.
