The trail follows along Meadow Creek for 3 miles before it climbs in elevation to the Godman area.

Meadow Knolls Group Camp
Meadow Knolls Group Campground is located on Meadow Lake. This is a beautiful high elevation lake at 7500 feet. Enjoy the views while boating, swimming or riding the nearby OHV trails. It is a popular spot for off-highway vehicle enthusiasts. Two group sites with space for 25 people each are provided. There are no hookups or showers at this campground.

Meadow Lake Boating Site
This is an undeveloped boat ramp, no pavement, suitable for small watercraft only. No dock is available and a single vault toilet is onsite. The drive in is a bit rough, high clearance vehicles recommended.
Meadow Lake Campground
Meadow Lake Campground contains 15 rustic campsites with tables, grills and vault toilets. Small trailers and campers can be accommodated. Access to the Fordyce Jeep Trail is nearby. There are an additional 10 campsites at the Meadow Lake Shoreline Campground. This reservoir is a recreational facility maintained and operated by Pacific Gas and Electrical Co. (PG&E)

Meadow Lake Shoreline Campground
Meadow Lake Shoreline Campground is located on Meadow Lake. Meadow Lake is a beautiful high elevation lake. It is a popular spot for off highway vehicle enthusiasts as there are nearby trails to access. There are ten campsites with tables, grills and vault toilets. There are an additional 15 rustic sites at the Meadow Lake Campground. This facility is maintained and operated by PG&E.
Meadow Lake Trailhead
Located just off the east shore of Meadow Lake, this trailhead is more primitive with a vault toilet located near the boat ramp. There is ample parking, but the road is very rough to access this site. The trailhead accesses the Bridger Wilderness via the Timico Lake Trail. This trailhead begins out both Motorized and Non-motorized for the first 2.5 miles, then transitions to non-motorized.

Firewood is for sale at the campground.
