Sly Creek Recreation Area
Sly Creek Campground has 25 units. Campground has drinking water, rest rooms,and garbage service. Each camping unit has a table and a fire ring.Trailers up to 22 feet can be accommodated, however no hookups are provided. Maximum stay is 14 days. Sly Creek Reservoir usually opens around May 4 through October. Boat ramp open.

Smarts Brook Trailhead
It accesses a popular and scenic system of shorter loop hikes that is also a popular ungroomed crosscountry skiing area in winter. The Smarts Brook trail passes through the center of these loops and slowly ascends the valley, connecting after 5.1 miles to the Sandwich Mountain trail just below Jennings Peak.

Smarty Creek #371
This 11.7 mile trail alternates up Smarty Creek and North Twentymile Creek on its looping journey back to the Forest Service Road #39 just south of Thirtymile Meadows. The trail travels through high elevation pristine meadows with occasional water and wildflowers. Moose and beaver may be seen in the area. This trail also provides access to North Fork Twentymile Trail #560.

However, with ample campsites along the river, it is rare for all the sites to be taken even on the busiest weekend. This campground offers opportunities to fly fish, provides access to trails, and is just one mile north of the Camp Sherman Store.
