Tunnel Brook North Trailhead

Tunnel Brook Road is closed from the Forest Service gate to the trailhead due to damage sustained during tropical storm Irene.  Hikers can park at the gate and it is approximately a 2 mile walk from the current parking location to the trailhead.

Tunnel Brook S Trailhead

The Tunnel Brook Trail follows a deep valley between Mt. Clough and Mt. Moosilauke. There are various beaver meadows at the height of land revealing the western flanks of Mt. Moosilauke and the eastern slides on Mt. Clough.

Tunnel Campground

This campground is located along the Laramie River Road (County Road 103) near the confluence of the West Branch Laramie River and the Laramie River. It is situated in a mature lodgepole pine forest where the mountain pine beetle has been very active. As a result, many dead trees have been cut to provide for visitor safety. Each of the 49 sites has a picnic table, fire grate, bear locker and tent pad.
