Twin Lakes Campground
Located in the Eastern Sierra of California near the town of Mammoth Lakes, this pine forest campground sits at an elevation of 8,600 feet. There is lake side camping with easy access to fishing and a boat launch. Water spigots and flush toilets are located throughout the campground. Picnic tables, fire rings, and bear boxes are provided at each campsite. 92 Campsites.

Twin Lakes Campground contains 21 sites scattered in the trees along the shores of the adjacent lakes. The area provides good fishing opportunities and nice views of the peaks of the Beaverhead Mountains. This campsite is equipped with a day-use picnic area, ADA-accessible toilets, water, a boat launch area, and fishing access.

Twin Lakes Trailhead
Twin Lakes Trailhead has adequate parking for both cars and trailers. It offers access to the Moose Creek Trail # 421 over Lost Horse Pass and the Wahoo Creek Trail over Wahoo Pass. Trails leading out almost immediately enter the Selway-Bitterroot Wilderness. Facilites include a vault toilet. Close camping is readily available at Schumaker.

Twin Peaks is a first-come, first-served campground with 35 sites located west of Twin Lakes Reservoir in a shaded aspen and lodgepole pine forest above the whitewater of Lake Creek. It sits at 9,600 feet with spectacular views of the Saguache (Sawatch) Range. The Continental Divide National Scenic Trail and Mount Elbert trails are in the nearby area.
