Threats
The primary threats are associated with limestone mining:
- Direct removal of mined materials
- Disposal of overburden on adjacent unmined habitat
- Road construction
Lesser threats include:
- Sand and gravel mining
- Off-highway vehicle use
- Recreational and urban development
- Power line and hydroelectric development
- Loss of pollinators or seed dispersal agents
