The campground is adjacent to Lake Owen. It is comprised of two loops under a dense stand of Lodgepole pines and a few Aspen. Both loops have sites overlooking the lake and site with scenic views of the Snowy Range. There are 35 campsites with tables, fire rings, trash pick-up, vault toilets. Lake Owen Recreation Area
Lake Owen Recreation Area is located on the 1,323 acre Lake Owen that has crystal clear water, excellent fishing and swimming. There is a swim beach and shelter/chalet at the northern end of the lake on Forest Road 213 (Lake Owen Drive). There is access to the North Country Trail from this recreation area as well as the Drummond Recreation Trails across the road.

Lake Powhatan Campground
Located in the Pisgah National Forest, Lake Powhatan Campground is a wooded site on the banks of Lake Powhatan with a swimming lake and beach. No boats are allowed on the lake. The campground borders the 6,000 acre Bent Creek Experimental Forest, a haven for bicyclists. This site is open year round with limited services from November-March.

Lake Ridge Lakes #2093
The first part of the trail travels through aspens and oak brush from the ridge top down to South Thompson road. The lakes are on the south side of the trail just before the ridge top. This trail has some great views of Mt. Sopris and surrounding areas. It makes a tough, but good bike loop.
Lake Roberts
Lake Roberts is located in the Wilderness Ranger District along NM 35. It can be accessed via NM 35 or NM 15. NM 15 is a narrow paved, winding road that may not be suitable for trucks with trailers.
