North Crestone Picnic Site

The picnic area is along North Crestone Creek. It is rustic with Aspen, Juniper, Fir and other riparian-loving trees.  There are 3 single-sites; with tables, restrooms, fire grates but no water.  Attractions include picnicking and hiking from North Crestone TH.

North Davis Boating Site

Wickiup Reservoir is very rich, highly productive, relatively warm water and cooler deep channels generate some of the finest fishing in Central Oregon. This primitive boat ramp is located within the North Davis Creek Campground. In autumn, when water levels drop, this boating site is often not accessible.

North Davis Creek Campground

This campground is located on the western arm of the Wickiup Reservoir and offers bird watching and fishing opportunities. This campground provides seclusion as it is rarely busy. Maximum site spur length is 40 feet.

North Dickey Lake Campground

North Dickey Lake Campground is a beautiful campground next to scenic Dickey Lake and several hiking and mountain biking trails. It's conveniently located off the main highway and provides a secluded location for outdoor enjoyment. A day use area is located on the other side of the lake. North Divide Motorized Routes

The North Divide area consists of numerous four-wheel drive roads open to off-highway vehicles (OHVs), as well as the popular 717 Trail System (which is open to motor vehicles 50 inches, or less, in overall width). This seasonal trail is generally not melted off until late June/early July due to snow levels at this elevation. This Trailhead serves as the access point for the North Dunckley Trail No. 1139. North Espanola Area

The Espanola District extends west of West of Highway 84 on the road to Abiqiui.  There are several trail heads for hiking and horse back riding within a short distance of Espanola.  Many of these trails are open in the winter season when other parts of the Forest are closed.

The North Fork Bear Canyon Trail #653 is used as a connecting route between the Unaweep Trail #601 and the Rim Road, FSR #416.  The upper portion of the trail travels at a level grade through grassy meadows and open aspen until it reaches the head of the canyon. North Fork Campground

North Fork Campground is the highest elevation campground on the Salida Ranger District. The elevation is 11,000 feet, and the campsites are situated on the north shore of the North Fork Reservoir. No trash service is provided. The road to the campground is very rough and not recommended for vehicles towing trailers. High clearance vehicles are a requirement for reaching this campground.
