Falls Campground

The recently remodeled Falls Campground hosts 54 sites near Brooks Lake Creek Falls. Mature pine and fir trees surround the site and campers can enjoy an overlook of the falls. Stay limit is 16 days. Water is available. Maximum spur length is 32 feet. This site is not accessible for those with mobility impairments. Falls Campground

This is a beautiful campground located on the banks of the Emigrant Creek.  Easy fishing access allows for trout fishing right next to the campground.  The campground's picnic area is a great site for family-friendly getaways and rarely fills. Please pack out what you pack in- no trash service is provided.

This forested campground is located along the Chewuch River. with swimming opportunities in summer after high water subsides.  A paved, 1/4 mile trail to scenic Falls Creek waterfalls is across the road from the campground.

Falls Day Use Area

  Workman Creek Falls provides excellent photography opportunities. Sierra Ancha Wilderness access Historical and pre-historic sites Aztec Peak Lookout. The Workman Creek area is the habitat for whitetail deer, bear, elk, turkey, javelina, mountain lion and many other animal species.

Paved parking, next to river, shady, oak trees, sandstone cliffs, sandy beaches. Swimming holes in nearby river. Four picnic sites. tables, parking, garbage bins, barbecues, restrooms.Watch out for poison oak. No overnight camping. Day use only. 

Falls Lake Shelter

The Falls Lake Shelter is a three-sided Adirondack-style shelter above Falls Lake, accessible by the Cascade Creek Trail.

Falls of Hills Creek

Tucked away in a narrow gorge just off the Highland Scenic Highway is a hidden treasure known as the Falls of Hills Creek Scenic Area. This popular 114 acre area contains three waterfalls - 25 feet, 45 feet, and 63 feet. The lower falls, at 63 feet is the second highest waterfall in West Virginia.

Farmers #727

The Farmers Trail #727 travels predominately through oakbrush and aspen with intermittent open areas.  It is mostly used as a connecting route between the upper portions of the Kannah Creek Trail #706 and the Coal Creek Trail #702.  The trail is moderate in difficulty due to the steep grade which it follows for most of the distance.
