Gunner Pool Recreation Area

4/7/25: Sites 20-24 closed until further notice due to flooding. The Gunner Pool Recreation Area offers a campground stretching along the scenic North Sylamore Creek. Gurley Ditch #611.1A

The Gurley Ditch Trail #611.1A begins at an intersection with Forest Service Road #611 and ends at an intersection with FSR 611 farther south. Gut Island #2 Cabin

Guyot Shelter

This shelter and accompanying tentsites is located on a spur path at 4,360 ft. off the Bondcliff Trail between Mt. Guyot (pronounced Gee-O) and Mt. Bond at the edge of the Pemigewasset Wilderness.  It is 0.6 miles from the Twinway Trail (Appalachian Trail).  The open log shelter accommodates approximately 16 people with ten additional tent platforms.  There is a spring for water that may be unreliable…

The Gwynn Tank Campground is a flat site in an open ponderosa meadow. Additionally, Gwynn Tank Campground is located adjacent to its namesake Gwynn Tank pond. The pond is historically stocked for recreational fishing and is popular for recreational fishing.
