Southside Campground is a developed campground within the Lake Isabel Recreation Area. Lake Isabel offers opportunities for nonmotorized boating and fishing. St. Charles Creek is close to the campground and is open for fishing. Spanish Creek Campround has 21 sites both reservable and first-come, first-served.  It is located off of State Highway 70, just 8 miles west of Quincy.  Supplies are available in Quincy.  The campground is outfitted with bear boxes and lantern posts. Interpretive panels are located at the entrance to the campground.

Spanish Creek Trailhead

Spar Lake Campground

The Spar Lake Campground is located 2.5 miles east of Troy then 17 miles south on Lake Creek Road 384. The campground offers 13 sites, including one host site, with tables and fire rings. This site includes a boat launch, parking area, and trail on Sparks Lake.  There are boat-in camping opportunities at dispersed sites.  The paved interpretive Ray Atkeson Loop Trail can be accessed from this site.
