Redlands Recreation Area
Just west of Greensboro,GA, on US 278 on the shore of the local's beloved Lake Oconee, visitors to the Oconee Ranger District find the Redlands Recreation Area. Families can enjoy the picnicking opportunities and acess to Lake Oconee by utilitizing one of three paved boat ramps in this secluded, yet scenic locale.
Redman Campground-SLRD
The campground is set among a forest of shady spruce and pine trees. Vivid summer wildflowers are abundant and autumn leaves put on quite a show. Hiking and mountain biking are popular activities on area trails, including the Donut Falls Trail, which begins nearby. Fly-fishermen enjoy casting on Big Cottonwood Creek.
Redman's Tooth Climbing Area
The Redmans Tooth climbing area sits on a ridge above the confluence of the North Umpqua and Steamboat Creek. There are six pinnacles from about 80 to 130 feet in height with 10 routes that range from 5.6 to 5.11a. Protection is a mixture of fixed anchors and trad gear. Trees often block access up FS-200 road requiring climbers to make a short hike to the base of the rocks.

Reeder Trailhead
The Reeder Trailhead (TH) marks the entrance to the Reeder Trail, which is 9 miles in length and provides a connection between the upper loop of State Route (SR) 29 at the north end of Joes Valley Reservoir and the lower end of Forest Road (FR) 0054/Reeder Ridge Road. This trail also provides a link to Orange Olsen Trail #5300. The trailhead is at ~7050' elevation.

After winding through old logging and powerline access roads while ascending to connect with the Kinsman Ridge Trail (a section of the Appalachian Trail) at 2.9 miles. Reflection Lake Trailhead
The Reflection Lake trail is 2.5 miles long. The first ½ mile of the trail was reconstructed in 2005, and from Short Bay it parallels the east side of Reflection Creek. Approximately ½ mile from Short Bay the trail crosses the creek and climbs into open muskeg. It reaches the outlet of Reflection Lake, passes a three-sided Adirondack shelter, and ends at a Forest Service cabin.
Refrigerator Harbor Campground
This boat-in campground offers a dock with a three boat capacity. There is one shelter, four tent sites, four tables, four fire rings, and two toilets. This site is accessible year-round.
