Your national forests and grasslands are 193 million acres of vast, scenic beauty waiting for you to discover. Over 3 million acres of land located in 22 National Recreation Areas managed by the Forest Service is preserved for recreational activities like hiking, boating, fishing and swimming, while highlighting natural, cultural and scenic resources. Visitors who choose to recreate on these public lands find 164,000 miles of trails, over 30,000 recreation sites, over 5,000 miles of streams and 3 million acres of lakes, 127 alpine ski areas, 338,000 heritage sites, and specially designated sites that include 37 million acres of designated wilderness areas, 130 wild and scenic rivers, 15 monuments, and one preserve. Renwyck Creek Trailhead

The Renwyck Creek Trailhead has limited parking, no kiosk, with non-motorized posts making the trailhead.  There is dispersed camping, but no registration box or livestock loading/unloading ramp.

The Reserve Ranger District is one of the largest districts in the northern portion of the Gila National Forest. Grass plains, chaparral, woodland, pine and mixed conifer habitats are found within the 613,119 acres that make up the district. Reservoir - 1 #663

The Reservoir - 1 Trail #663 begins as a two track at the parking area and immediately passes through a metal gate and continues through dense aspen and fir to the reservoir which is located approximately 0.1 miles from the trailhead.  The trail continues along the western edge of the reservoir and eventually ties into the Ridge Trail #646.…

Reservoir Boating Site

This is a primitive boat ramp, located within the Reservoir Campground next to Wickiup Reservoir, and may become inaccessible in autumn when water levels recede. No overnight camping allowed in parking area.

Reservoir C Boating Site

The boat ramp at Reservoir C is paved and can accommodate motorized and non-motorized boats.  There is ample parking for boat trailers.

Reservoir C Campground

Close to the boat ramp and right on the water, campsites at Reservoir C are quiet, scenic and partly shaded. A recommended spot for amateur astronomers; light pollution is non-existent.

Reservoir Campground

The Reservoir Campground sits at an elevation of 7900 feet near the Yellowstone Reservoir and the Yellowstone River. Trailhead access to the High Uinta's Wilderness is at the end of Forest Road #124 at the Swift Creek Trailhead.

Reservoir Campground

This campground is next to Wickiup Reservoir and provides great bird watching opportunities. This site offers beautiful scenery and is a great place to go during the summer for easy access to fishing. Maximum site spur length is 125 feet. There is a boat launch area adjacent to this campground.

Reservoir Creek Campground

2 primitive sites with picnic tables and fire rings. Campground has a vault toilet but no garbage services or drinking water. Trailhead for trail #192 from the campground through the steep terrain of the Bitterroot Range. Please pack out your trash.

Reservoir F Boating Site

The boat ramp at Reservoir F is hard packed gravel and can accommodate motorized and non-motorized boats.

Reservoir F Campground

The campsites at Reservoir F are spacious and close to the shoreline.  The early morning sun greets campers from across the lake as the afternoons are shaded by the tall pines.

Reservoir Lake Campground and Picnic Area

This is a nice high elevation lakeside campground. Reservoir Lake Campground and day use picnic area sits along the lake's south shores. The campground and day use areas have vault toilets, drinking water, and a boat ramp. Scenic trails are offered for hiking. Resurrection River Cabin

A 12 x 14-foot rustic cabin overlooking the wide Resurrection River valley and mountains beyond. Set in a dense forest of spruce and hemlock. Access is difficult and visitation is on a first-come, first-served basis. No fees are currently being charged. Reynolds Creek 150

It climbs “The switchbacks" and traverses scenic Knoles Hole. A part outside the Wilderness was an old logging road. Some segments are brushy and hard to find. The southern end of this trail borders the privately owned Murphy Ranch.
