River's Bend Fishing Site

The River's Bend Fishing Site offers parking and access to the Lower Jemez River. Located on NM HWY 4 approximately seven miles south of Jemez Springs. Open seasonally, typically from May to October.  

Riverbend Campground

This small campground is located along the Chiwawa River, 18 miles from Lake Wenatchee. River access is available at this campground.

Riveredge Boat Ramp

Riveredge day use and boat ramp is located beside Highway 34 and has access to the Alsea River providing opportunities for fishing, boating and quiet walks.

Riverford Campground

CLOSED DUE TO RIVERSIDE FIRE Riverford Campground is a small scenic campground, along the Clackamas River near its confluence with the Collowash River set in a dense forest of Douglas fir and hemlocks. Located on the Wild and Scenic Clackamas River.

Riverkern Beach Picnic Site

Riverkern beach is a quite spot for a picnic or to relax by the Kern River just north from the town of Kernville. Whitewater rafting available in Kernville. Camping, dogs, vehicles, and campfires are not allowed on beach.

Rivers and Streams

The Gifford Pinchot National Forest area is home to numerous streams and rivers, many of which are popular for fishing.

Rivers End Campground - Gunnison RD

Rivers End Campground is located at the north end of Taylor Park Reservoir. It provides access to the reservoir via a fishing site. A trailhead with parking for Matchless Trail is located on the grounds. Other activities accessible from this site include four-wheel driving, mountain biking, enduro biking and horseback riding. There are 15 campsites.

Riverside (Einstein Mine) Trailhead

The 1-mile Riverside Trail leads to the old Einstein Silver Mine from the Riverside Pavilion parking area. This trail follows the east side of the St. Francis River.  It is a wooded trail with beautiful bluffs of Precambrian granite and felsite rocks.  There are no boardwalks.  This is a hilly, well-maintained trail.  The Einstein Mine is gated and there is no public access.

Riverside Campground is located two miles southwest of Lake George, Colorado, on County Road 96. It has 18 campsites (11 walk-in sites). Elevation is 8,000 feet. Max RV length is 30 feet. No hook ups. Services are reduced outside of the peak summer season.

Riverside Campground (Idaho City)

The Riverside Campground is near Atlanta, Idaho. The trailhead from Power Plant campground, 1 mile east, provides accesses the Sawtooth Wilderness. The Queens River trailhead is north of Riverside Campground, at the end of the FS 205 road. The historic mining town of Atlanta is 0.5 mile away. There are plenty opportunities to fish for rainbow trout.
