Silver Bowl Campground

Located near the shores of Silver Lake, Silver Bowl is a developed campground with 18 designated sites.  There is a maximum of 8 people per site.  Silver Lake offers a boat launch ramp, and a nature trail encircling the lake and two picnic areas provide a variety of recreational pursuits. Silver City Trailhead

From Rapid City, travel west on Highway 44 for about 15 miles.  Turn north (right) onto Highway 385 and travel for 1.4 miles, then turn west (left) onto Silver City Road.  Travel 4.5 miles west to the town of Silver City.  Continue another .5 miles to the end of the road.  This trailhead provides access not only to the Deerfield Trail, but also the headwaters of Pactola Reservoir.

Silver Crest Winter Recreation Area

The Silver Crest Winter Recreation area is an area that provides groomed trails for cross country skiing and snowshoeing during the winter months. Silver Dollar Campground

Silver Dollar Campground is located in a shaded lodgepole pine forest at an elevation of 9,900 feet within the Turquoise Lake Recreation Area. Silver Fir Campground

This campground is situated in the forest along the North Fork Nooksack River. Most of the sites are removed from the highway and a short walk to the river. Many Silver fir, western red cedar, and western hemlock trees provide shade, but a very sunny gravel bar is between the campground and the river.
