Sex Peak Lookout is situated in the Rocky Mountains at an elevation of 5,772 feet in the Kootenai National Forest. Seymour Creek Campground
The campground has 17 units, with a maximum recommended trailer length for the area is 18 feet. The area is equipped with a day-use picnic area, toilets, water, and fishing access. Garbage services are not available for this site so please, pack out what you pack in.
Shackleford Trailhead
The Shackleford Creek trail begins here and heads southwest into the Marble Mountains Wilderness. Stock water and corrals are available at the trailhead. This trail goes to Summit Lake, Campbell Lake and Cliff Lake but has no direct connection to the PCT. One can expect to see cattle in this area during the managed grazing season.

Shadow Creek Campground
Shadow Creek Campground is located along the East Fork of the South Fork Salmon River at approximately 3,000 ft. elevation. Access is by paved County Rd. 1C02 (Callahan - Cecilville Rd). There are six campsites, some with RV access, vault toilets, but no potable water.
